Altech Netstar has added unprecedented value to its stolen vehicle recovery products and services. In keeping with consumer demands for convenience, choice, and superior safety features, the company has launched its modular Safe and Sound product suite.
This new tracking and recovery service is so much more than a device in your car. Locally designed and manufactured, the product is offered at three levels, each with its own set of benefits and associated pricing. Subscribers can switch between the three options, depending on the level of service they require, without having to enter into a new contract or have a new unit fitted.
In addition to all the features of the basic option, Safe and Sound Plus offers live traffic information and driver behaviour alerts, with an automatically completed SARS-compliant logbook available soon. The system also has customisable preset alarms and alerts, such as service and licence renewal notifications. Safe and Sound Supreme is differentiated from the Plus offer by its early warning features. These include a keyring activator that allows you to arm and disarm your vehicle, and to flag a trip as business or private for logbook purposes.
Customers can upgrade their Safe and Sound option via the Customer Zone portal on the Altech Netstar website at any time, and a smartphone app is due for release before the end of the year.
